At WECAR™, we believe that it’s not only about selling homes, but it’s about making a difference in the community. That is why in 2022, we were proud to donate to various organizations that support those in need in the Windsor-Essex area.
One of the organizations we supported was The Bridge Youth, a resource center for at-risk youth. Our donation of $4,000 helped provide vital services to young people in our community who may otherwise fall through the cracks.
Another organization we supported was Family Respite, which provides much-needed support and resources to families with children who have disabilities. Our donation of $10,000 went towards making a tangible impact in the lives of these families.
We also made a difference in the lives of those facing illness through our donation of $7,000 to the Hospice. This organization provides comfort and care to those in their final stages of life, and our contribution helped make a positive impact.
In addition to supporting families and individuals facing illness, we also made a difference in the lives of those facing unemployment and financial hardship. Our donation of $5,000 to the Unemployed Help Centre went towards providing job search resources and financial assistance to those struggling to make ends meet.
Our partnership with Habitat for Humanity was another highlight of our charitable efforts in 2022. Our donation of $6742 went towards building affordable housing for those in need, and we believe that everyone deserves a safe and secure place to call home.
Throughout the year, our volunteers also made a difference by dropping off donations to local food banks and community centers. We were also proud to support the Windsor-Essex Children’s Aid Society with contributions of school supplies and backpacks, which helped ensure that over 700 children and youth in our community had the resources they needed to succeed.
The organization’s efforts in 2022 made a significant difference in the lives of those in the community. They are grateful for the opportunity to serve and for the generosity and dedication of their members, which made these charitable efforts possible.
