Windsor-Essex County Association of REALTORS® Celebrates 100 Years
Celebrating 100 years of representing the interests of real estate agents, brokers, brokerages and their clients across the region, the Windsor-Essex County Association of REALTORS (WECAR) is focusing its efforts this year on thanking area residents for supporting their local agents.
On May 26, 2018 WECAR hosted a Community Appreciation Day for their 100th Anniversary to give back to the residents at the Ciociaro Club.
Everything was FREE! Bouncy Castle, Huge Slides, Dancers on Stage in the Pavilion, Hot Dogs, Pop/Water, Chips, Granolas, Freezies, Cotton Candy, Popcorn Machine, Colouring Contest for the Children, Plenty of giveaways: T-Shirts, pens, and small Frisbees.
In attendance were clowns (like Nosey Rosey), mascots such as Bomber from the Windsor Spitfires and also the band, the Bomb Squad performed during the five hour party. Krista Gionet, Executive Officer of WECAR, explains the event was designed to show the association’s appreciation for client support over the past century. “It was also being held to thank our 972 members and 56 associate members for their work and support of our industry,” says Gionet, who has been with WECAR for 29 years. And as always showing that REALTORS care, raffle tickets were also sold in support of Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation.
Congrats to WECAR, your administrative staff on all REALTORS on achieving this 100 year milestone from all your friends at Biz X magazine! Read original article here… https://bizxmagazine.com/windsor-essex-real-estate-board-celebrates-100-years/
